This policy explains what personal data Bauhaus Walls collects when you visit our website or place an order, why we collect it, and the rights you hold over it. We keep data collection to what is necessary to run the shop and fulfil orders.
Data We Collect
When you place an order we collect the details needed to complete it: your name, email address, delivery address and the contents of your order. If you contact us by email we keep that correspondence so we can respond and follow up. Payment card details are never handled or stored by us directly.
Payments
Card and payment processing is carried out by a specialist third-party payment processor. Your payment information is entered with that processor and is not transmitted to or retained by Bauhaus Walls. We receive only confirmation that a payment succeeded and the order reference tied to it.
Cookies and Analytics
Our site uses a small number of cookies to keep the site working and to help us understand, in aggregate, how visitors move through it. Analytics data is used to improve the site and is not used to build advertising profiles about you. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may then behave differently.
How Long We Keep Data
We hold order records for as long as we are required to for accounting and tax purposes, and we hold general correspondence only for as long as it is useful. When data is no longer needed it is deleted.
Your Rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you may exercise the following rights over your personal data:
- Access a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Request erasure of your data where we have no ongoing legal reason to retain it.
- Object to or restrict certain uses of your data.
Contact
To make any request about your data, or to ask a question about this policy, write to us at [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time.
